Program Overview

The 3-year EDEP Advanced Studies (Ikhtisās) program is a continuation of the 4-year EDEP Honors program. The students who graduate from the Honors Program are offered the opportunity to continue the path of knowledge at the EDEP Advanced Studies program upon their success in an exam on all of the Islamic disciplines organized by the EDEP Faculty. Advanced Studies classes are held in person in one of the buildings of EDEP in Üsküdar or Fatih, in Istanbul, or online, depending on the preference of the teacher and students. The language of instruction is Turkish and Arabic.
