Advanced Islamic Studies
THE 11 TH ANNUAL EDEP SUMMER SCHOOL FOR
Join students from around the world in Istanbul!
The EDEP Summer School for Advanced Islamic Studies is a 4-week program held annually in Istanbul. It aims to bring together distinguished scholars and students of knowledge of all backgrounds from around the world to disseminate beneficial knowledge, elevate the purpose of knowledge, and root students in the Islamic intellectual tradition.
This program will offer students the chance to study select texts from the Islamic tradition alongside classes on social sciences. While the main courses are taught exclusively in classical Arabic and focus on classical texts, they are enriched by the integration of discussion-based seminars on contemporary topics, some of which may be in English.
We invite students who are fluent in Arabic and have studied Islamic studies in an Arabic environment up to an intermediate level to apply.

The Center for Excellence in Education (EDEP) invites applications for residential fellowships in Istanbul, fostering academic growth and scholarly dialogue among Muslim women. The fellowship, extending over a period of 4 months starting on February 12, 2024, welcomes doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, as well as visiting scholars eager to advance their research amidst the rich academic and cultural milieu of Istanbul.

Onur Programı
EDEP Onur Programı, üniversiteye kayıtlı kız öğrencilerin İslamî ilimler ve karşılaştırmalı sosyal bilimler eğitimi alabilecekleri 4 yıllık bir eğitim programıdır.

İhtisas Programı
EDEP ihtisas programı, 4 yıllık Onur Programını başarıyla tamamlayan öğrencilere yönelik olarak 3 yıl süreyle İslami ilimler ve sosyal bilimler alanında ileri düzey eğitim sunmaktadır.

İslami İlimler Yaz Okulu
Her yıl İstanbul'da düzenlenen 4 haftalık bir sertifika programıdır. Klasik eserlerden seçilen metinler üzerinden ileri seviye İslami ilimler ve sosyal bilimler eğitimi sunulmaktadır.
